No can’t work. The permanent one is good for five years and then will supposedly be renewed for another five after a visit to immigration. I assume that the price will be the same as the current price. The one that I’m talking about is for foreigners married to Indonesians, and we will be allowed to work – so it’s said. Anyone with a KITAS can open a bank account now.

I am assuming, not knowing the immigration terminology that well, that your Kitas does not allow one to work?? The permanent one you speak of will not need to be renewed every year? Will cost less?? Will allow you to work and have a bank account?
